2015, New York – At the party in the Avengers Tower
A warm breeze swept through New York, carrying the smell of summer all the way to the balcony of the Avengers Tower. Sounds of fun and laughter came from the crowded living room, but you rather stayed out in the open; where you could breathe. You leaned against the glass railing, staring out into the night. Shadows moved through the warren of streets that made the big city, while the light of the moon coloured all else a soft, silvery blue.
You sighed, letting the heavy air fill your longs. You had come here together with Doctor Cho to heal agent Barton from his injuries. If the Avengers hadn’t insisted you’d stay for the party, you’d already be back in the lab in Seoul, working on your theories. Instead, you were here, standing on a large balcony. Alone.

My name is Gabriel Picolo, I’m an illustrator based in Brazil who loves coffee and black kitties.
I’ve been drawing since I was kid but it was always a hobby which I didn’t put much time into. By 2013 I used to draw a doodle per month. Maybe.
Then, I joined the DeviantArt community on 2014 when I did the 365 days of doodles project, in which I challenged myself to draw a doodle a day, for the whole year. It was one of the most challenging things I ever did and it helped me so much with developing my craft and to keep drawing regularly.
